Lisa Binkley holds a B.S. in Textiles & Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s in Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Formerly a public policy analyst, she began creating art quilts in 2000 and exhibits her award-winning work nationwide. Curators from Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, the Smithsonian Art Museum’s Renwick Gallery, and the Bellevue Arts Museum have selected her work for inclusion in major exhibitions, and her artwork has been featured on television and in publications such as the Fiberarts Design Book and Quilting Arts magazine. Lisa’s art is represented in private and corporate collections. She lives in Waunakee, Wisconsin with her husband and their two children.
